Liza Wong is a trained actuary with over 20 years of experience in reinsurance, currently working as a Senior Accident & Health Underwriter at Odyssey Re. Liza is also fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, which enhances her ability to communicate and collaborate in diverse environments. Outside of work, Liza is an avid tennis player and is actively involved with the USTA in promoting the game of tennis to people of all ages. 

The insurance market has undergone significant changes in recent years. In the property sector, rates are being affected by climate change. In casualty and cyber insurance, social inflation is causing prices to rise. In healthcare, government regulations continue to have a significant impact on cost and quality of care. Liza decided to join CAIA because she believes our community needs to be educated about these changes to understand how to use insurance to protect their financial stability.
